第十二屆TIDF台灣國際紀錄片影展延期公告
因應嚴重特殊傳染性肺炎（COVID-19）的疫情擴散，很遺憾地通知各位，原訂於2020年5月1日至10日的第十二屆台灣國際紀錄片影展（TIDF），經評估後將延期至2021年春天舉辦。
自1998年創立以來，TIDF一直都是重要的國際交流平台，也是兩年一次國內外影人和觀眾們的難得聚會。近年每屆近百場的映後座談、交流活動、現場表演、紀錄劇場、跨領域展覽，在在擴展了紀錄片觀影與影展的可能性。經歷二十多年的深耕，影展的豐富內容成為我們重視的使命與珍貴資產，而TIDF觀眾所給予的高度回饋，也是我們最驕傲的成就之一。但隨著疫情的全球性擴散，不僅折損了放映的觀影品質，近百位預計來台之國際影人受到影響，交流與活動的可行性巨幅縮減，強烈衝擊影展的完整性與意義。
對TIDF而言，觀眾、影人及工作人員的參與，是影展最不可或缺的元素，而所有參與者的健康，肯定是最首要的考量。經過長時間的審慎評估，TIDF決定延至明年再與各位見面。感謝所有國內外參與者的支持，並祈求所有人都能健康平安渡過這段艱困的時期，期待2021年春天再聚！

TIDF Postponement Announcement
Due to the latest development of COVID-19 pandemic, we regret to announce that the 12th TIDF due to take place on May 1-10, 2020, will be postponed to Spring 2021.
Under the influence of COVID-19 pandemic, the festival won’t be able to proceed as we planned it. Filmmakers and professionals, audience, our staff and volunteers together made the TIDF as it is today and it would be irresponsible to put everyone under this unnecessary risk.
All participants’ welfare is of our top concern now. We will continue with all necessary preparation and hope the difficult time will be behind everyone soon. Take care and see you in Spring 2021.
